Job Description: 

Our Production Chefs help oversee and manage a high-volume production kitchen. The person in this role would be responsible for:

• Working with our Operational Management Team (i.e. Executive Chef, Plant Manager, HACCP Manager) to ensure efficient, consistent production of a wide variety of made from scratch foods.
• Implementing and overseeing food safety processes.
• Oversee production to drive high productivity.
• Ensure cost controls (e.g. labor, ingredients, overhead) to achieve performance targets.
• Strive to constantly improve performance and other efficiency metrics.
• Work with a Supply chain Manager to forge relationships with food distributors, farms and various specialty vendors.

Qualifications:

• Have a Recognized Culinary Degree
• Have 5-7 Years Management Experience in High Volume Food Production
• Enjoy a fast-paced, professional environment
• Be experienced in working in large-scale commissary kitchens or other high-volume manufacturing operations
• Be able to adapt to our team environment and work within the Metabolic Meals Protocols

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or the equivalent preferred
• 1 year+ experience in a light manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, food preparation or similar industry / work environment a plus

• Ability to meet attendance guidelines
• While rare, must be willing to work on holidays or weekends if needed

Work Environment

• Most job duties are performed in a refrigerated room that maintains 38 degrees
• Lifting required up to 50 lbs. Carrying 20-25 lbs. and pushing/pulling 50+ lbs

Responsibilities

• Establish quantities of product that need to be ordered in order to fulfill production needs.
• Assist the Executive Chef with food purchases.
• Find alternative sources of short or hard to find product.
• Monitor fresh produce market conditions to avoid sharp market increases and availability issues. Communicate favorable purchasing opportunities to management.
• Understand application of freight and shipping to optimize cost of goods purchased.
• Analyze and maintain recipe food costs to stay within weekly recipe budget.
• Ensure incoming product meets or exceeds the recipe’s quality specifications.
• Ensure accurate, up-to-date item information within the database. Enter new products and price changes promptly and accurately into a purchase order system.
• Minimize shrinkage/spoilage of perishable products. Obtain credit from suppliers where applicable for returned, damaged, or spoiled goods. Coordinate storage of items to be returned to suppliers.
• Perform weekly inventory counts
• Participate in weekly company meetings with management to discuss food costs and strategy
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We’re hiring for an experienced Director of Digital Media to drive revenue growth through the management of online media spend. As Director of Digital Media, you will be responsible for identifying and scaling cost-effective customer acquisition campaigns across social, search, and native advertising. You will develop the strategic plan, use analytics to inform decisions and drive execution to optimize a significant marketing budget against company goals.

The ideal candidate will know how to build and scale complex marketing campaigns across the purchase funnel, has demonstrated experience managing and building online media teams to achieve results and is able to define and clearly communicate the strategic direction.

You will:

• Lead a team across paid social, paid search, and native advertising.
• Be responsible for defining and leading our paid online media customer acquisition strategy.
• You will develop, recommend, and execute marketing campaigns across multiple of paid online media platforms.
